When I started working with Komal a couple months ago, I had reached a point where I knew I had to be proactive in taking care of my health. I had a lot of changes happening in my life, and I was looking to proactively help me bring positivity and self-care into my routine. I remember being a little nervous and unsure of whether I could do a program at a time in my life when I had major upheavals happening. I addition, I had started seeing the signs of High blood pressure and prediabetes. I went to Komal because I trust her. With her program, Komal helped me identify attitudes and habits that are areas of concern, defined a self-care program that uniquely met my needs (including diet, exercise, relaxation}, and coached me through the 8 weeks. I was very motivated to commit and continue to do all the necessary steps of my program, partly for my health, but also because Komal was so motivating, I wanted to make her proud of me. As she walked through the program, I was struck by how knowledgeable she is in everything she undertakes. Knowing which muscles groups each exercise step addresses, how to make the right food choices, what other techniques I should use to improve my stress levels and customizing a yoga routine for me - this is how Komal made the program work for me. My highlight was, when one time, 3 weeks into the program, I could do a shoulder stand (Sarvangasan), Till then I was scared to do so, and now, at the end of the program, I can confidently go into the pose and hold it.
